Join us for our Standing up for Science workshops in Dublin City University on 8 February and the Black Box Belfast on 23 February. Find out how to make your voice heard in public debates about science and evidence.
Meet researchers who have engaged with the media, learn from policymakers about why good evidence is important for them and how researchers can help inform policy. Respected science journalists will talk about how the media works, and how to respond and comment, and what journalists expect from scientists and researchers. Finally, get hints and tips from communications experts on how you can start standing up for science.
These full day events are FREE for early career researchers and scientists in all sciences, engineering, medicine and social sciences (PhD students, post-docs or equivalent in first job).
