Call on your MP to support transparency

This week two parliamentary committees have written to government, calling for transparency behind COVID-19 policies.

On Monday the Public Administration and Constitutional Affairs Committee called on government to publish all remaining SAGE papers and on Tuesday the House of Commons Science and Technology Committee called for the papers to be published promptly after each meeting, and a summary of the scientific advice which has informed government to be published.

Please put your weight behind transparency as voters and constituents, and activate your MP on this important issue.

See an example letter below, and if you do not know who your MP is, or how to contact them, the details are all on the UK Parliament website.

Dear Mr Farron

On Monday Parliament’s Public Administration and Constitutional Affairs Committee called on government to publish all remaining SAGE papers.

On Tuesday the SciTech Committee called for the papers to be published promptly after each meeting, and a summary of the scientific advice which has informed government.

Will you press the government on behalf of your constituency about when it plans to do this?

Best wishes
Alex Clegg
