You can help secure the future of Sense about Science.
Leaving a legacy to Sense about Science will ensure that we can continue to shape public debates about science long into the future, and prepare future generations of scientists to take responsibility for putting good science and evidence at the heart of public discussion. Your gift will allow us to keep working with scientists to respond to public questions and to tackle misinformation on issues that matter to society.
If you already have a will your solicitor will be able to adjust this by adding a brief codicil. If not, making a will allows you to decide how your assets and possessions will be divided up. It is a straight-forward way of ensuring the people and organisations that are important to you are included.
There are different ways you can leave a legacy gift:
- Part of your estate (residuary legacy)
- A lump sum (pecuniary legacy)
- A specific item
You can find out more about legacy giving from the FAQs below.
Advice on how to make a will is available from Citizens Advice Bureau.
