Anne Jordan

Policy Intern

Anne is a PhD student working in Molecular Medicine at the University of East Anglia and the Quadram Institute Biosciences as part of the Norwich Research Park; investigating how the modulation of the gut microbiome enhances the efficacy of vaccines. Eager to learn more about how science and evidence communication between the public, policymakers and media can be improved, Anne joined Sense about Science as part of her 3-months PIPS placement in October this year. Here she supports the team on different events like Voice of Young Science workshops and Evidence Week in the parliament, and helps on different aspects challenging the misinterpretation of scientific topics in public life through promotion of evidence-based research and education.
