Joshua is the Policy Officer and leads on developing the programme for Sense about Science’s flagship policy event Evidence Week. He advocates for high-quality evidence being at the heart of policymaking. Joshua supports researchers to gain the skills to effectively communicate research to policymakers. He supports the charity’s work scrutinising government policy through Transparency of Evidence. Joshua enthusiastically leads the Voice of Young Science workshop programme, working to encourage early career researchers to discuss the impact of their research in society.
Before joining Sense about Science in 2020, Joshua studied microbiology at the University of Nottingham.
