Madeleine Ball

Madeleine is a BBSRC-funded PhD student at the University of Cambridge, studying chromatin organisation during development via the use of super-resolution microscopy. She has always had a keen interest in communicating challenging science to the general public, but has recently developed a particular interest in bridging the gap between academic research and the evidence used in policy making decisions. This caused her to seek out an internship at Sense about Science; helping to promote evidence-based policy decisions to ensure proper involvement of good science at all levels of society.
