Padmini joined the team in June 2021 to develop and implement Making Sense of Risk, a new project aimed at providing strategic leadership to practical risk literacy efforts among risk information providers and community-based practitioners. She has previously managed a portfolio of education development programmes in IDP and pastoral communities in East Africa for the Educateurs sans Frontières initiative at Association Montessori Internationale.
Padmini’s prior experience includes coordinating communications, events, and stakeholder engagement for education charities in London, Amsterdam, and Bangalore, India.
Padmini is completing her MSc in Violence, Conflict and Development at SOAS University of London, and holds an MA Corporate Communication from Bournemouth University. She is also a volunteer-member of the International Solidarity for the Academic Freedom in India diasporic collective and supports their communication and social media efforts.
